Kirsten here again! So on christmas eve and the night before that we had a 2 night Monopoly championship. The first night was Molly vs Samantha and Felicty. the first game was the criest. Felcity was easily eliminated by molly b/c Felicty was overspending at auctions. but the real compititon was between Samaantha and Molly. Both had very good properties and we playing till the night was nearly over.
Samantha owned the white chain, blue chain, and green chain, but did not have enough money to build much on the green and blue properties as shown abovd. Molly had about everything else, including the properties she got when felicty went bankrupt on her propertiy.
The strugle paused at five am for a few hours of rest then they finished it and within a hour Samantha finally went bankrupt, leaving Molly as the champion. The next night was even more intense, Jenny, Me, Molly, and our owner, Livy, all played against eachother. Me and livy were big competition between eachother. She is a master at the game. Well anyways, I used auctions to make Jenny broke. She had never played monopoly before and had no clue what she was doing. It was not long before she realized the white proeprties, ultilities, and railroads were not enough to survive on. She kept landing on Livy's grren chain, which within the first 2 hours made Jenny, then me bankrupt and Livy recieved all our propertiies, which made up at least half the board.! I did not have it that bad. My issue was I only had one chain. Even though it was a high paying chain with houses and hotels, one chain was not enough to keep this girl afloat. Molly makes people lose lots of money with her auction trick where she makes others bid way too high like up to $200 more than the property was worth. Once Livy owned half the board and I went out, I went to get my share of winter punch and watch 5 hours of power struggle between Livy and Molly. Livy owned everything except the white, red , and orange properties. The issue she faced was that the properties she inherited that were worth something cost money she did not have, making her gain nothing from them. she had full dependance on the pink and green propeties along with the brown ones. The cost to build on the green ones was excessive and she could not build on them after awhile. All this time Molly was building fast on her orange and white properties, making Livy loose lots of money in the last 2 hours. desperate for money, Livy gave Molly Park Place for $600. Bad idea. Molly quickly unmortgaged park place and got hotels on both. By this time Livy was forced to mortgage half of her properties to pay rent to Molly, and when he landed on Molly's boardwalk hotel she went bankrupt finally at five in the morning, meaning Molly won and inherited Livy's propeties along with the properties Livy had inherited from making me and Jennie brankrupt. this is what it looked like at 5 am when Molly finally won. You can see she is holding the boardwalk card in her hand telling livy how much she owed. You can also see she had all hotels.
